The T600 is a self-contained four-channel pulse amplifier and discriminator. It accepts inputs from delay-line or similar charge detectors with pulse levels as low as 1e6 electron equivalents; its outputs are fast logic levels that correspond to the time of arrival of the input pulses. The T600 has filtering and equalization that can be customized for optimum timing of pulses that vary by 2:1 or more in width. In real-life detection systems, the T600 can achieve timing precision and imaging resolution orders of magnitude better than classic constant-fraction discriminators.
