T400 Precision Laser Beam Modulator
The T400 is an integrated beam-profile modulator for large-scale fusion and other high-energy laser installations. It provides
picosecond-resolution 16-bit amplitude modulation, rectangular optical gate drive, e/o modulator bias, and timing fiducials. Input,
output, and trigger are single-mode fiberoptics, and control is via Ethernet. T400s are used to modulate the world's biggest laser,
the 192-beam megajoule NIF laser fusion facility in Livermore, California.
L300 NMR Pulsed Gradient Driver and Temperature Controller
Designed for the Varian division of Agilent, the L300 combines an ultra-precise pulsed current source with a custom sample temperature
controller. It demonstrates Highland's interest in instrumenting complex analytical and optical instruments.
T564 Digital Delay and Pulse Train Generator
When Andor Technology needed an ICCD shutter controller with swept delays accurate to picoseconds, they turned to Highland Technology.
Using the T560 as a base platform, Highland added glitch-free delay sweep capability, more outputs, and an OEM high-speed serial interface.
The architecture evolved into the T564 standard-product mini digital delay generator.
T900 Laser Timing Unit
The T900 is a custom embedded laser timing unit developed for Cymer, the premier supplier of deep-UV MOPA lasers used for integrated
circuit production lithography. It manages high-rate laser timing on a shot-by-shot basis, with picosecond resolution of both laser
system drive and photodiode diagnostics. A significant fraction of the world's production of nanometer-resolution ICs are manufactured
by equipment that uses the T900 for critical timing.
